Edward Wilson possesses a unique combination of formal martial arts training, on-the-job experience and natural movement sensibilities.
With nine years as a security professional in the nightlife industry, Wilson believes that you need more than traditions and conventions to make martial arts useful for self-defence. For nine years he has trained in the sport of Judo, Freestyle Ninjutsu (Seicho Jutsu) and has taught Ninjutsu for an additional three years in Toronto. He studied Tae Kwon Do in Taiwan and spent time training with the Taiwanese Junior National Team. To round out his exposure to other styles of martial arts, Wilson has also practiced Brazilian Jujutsu, Muay Thai, Capoeira, Krav Maga and kickboxing and is currently honing his skills in MovNat under the tutelage of Erwan LeCorre.
With an emphasis on the practical, students of Wilson
are
coached in all the bases of fighting: strikes, joint
manipulations,
grappling, locks, throws and submissions.
